A Preliminary Review of RSA Truck Stops

The transport industry, and the associated infrastructure, is the lifeblood of any economy. This has been clearly shown from many viewpoints, however has been and is still largely unappreciated. Consider for a moment, that every aspect of our life is influenced by transport. The food you purchase at the store, travelling to work or abroad. The items you ordered and were delivered and your children taken to school. Likewise, that crime is almost always centered around transport, be that high-jacking, use of a vehicle in a crime such as the transportation of stolen goods and the criminals themselves. Transport crime includes the direct transport industry itself in respect of theft of the vehicles, components and goods.

Notably, the transport industry as a whole has been in the news endlessly, think of the cost of fuel and the effect this has on overall transport costs and to our pocket. Likewise, in regards the shocking crash rates & fatality numbers. In this regard the subject matter of commercial vehicles, the “human factor” of driving, which includes the massive issue of fatigue & distracted driving, relates directly to a safe and comfortable night`s sleep, a Truck Stop.
