We see many wonderful, strange and though provoking sights on our many journeys around the country. Just one of these is the very clear & costly remains of “black gold”, what we often refer to as crocodiles.
There can be no question that even where we consider a conservative average commercial tyre cost at around R 8 000.00 per tyre, and the typical commercial configuration of 16; 18, 26 or perhaps a 34 wheel configuration, that values of R 128 000.00; R 144 000.00, R 208 000.00 and R 272 000.00 is a substantial cost, black gold.
